Pascal Standards FAQ
This FAQ contains various questions that are frequently asked about the various Pascal standards.
Turbo Pascal (Wikipedia)
Turbo Pascal is a complete software development system that includes a compiler and an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for the Pascal programming language running under CP/M, MS-DOS and CP/M-86, developed by Borland under Philippe Kahn's leadership. The name Borland Pascal was generally reserved for the high end packages (with more libraries and standard library source code) while the original cheap and widely known version was sold as Turbo Pascal. The name Borland Pascal is also used more generically for Borland's dialect of Pascal. Turbo Pascal 7 also inspired me to create Turbo51.

Pascal Central
Are you looking for other Pascal programmers? Looking for programming help specifically related to Pascal? Looking for Pascal source code? In a world of chaos, it can sometimes be difficult to locate Pascal related information. This page was developed to try and accumulate all such sources, including mailing lists, newsgroups, and source code archives, into one place.

Comparison of Pascal and C (Wikipedia)
The computer programming languages C and Pascal are often compared to each other, sometimes heatedly, probably because the languages have similar times of origin, influences, and purposes, and so represent two philosophical approaches to a similar need. Both were used to design (and compile) their own compilers early in their lifetimes, and both were established and popular during the formative years of the microcomputer age.
Top 10 reasons why Pascal is better than C
Pascal, noble language as it is, was named after a famous French mathematician and philosopher, Blaise Pascal. C was named after a Sesame Street character...
Why Pascal is Not My Favorite Programming Language
The programming language Pascal has become the dominant language of instruction in computer science education. It has also strongly influenced languages developed subsequently, in particular Ada.
